Duke Magazine

Issue Tres has just hit the shelves ladies & gents.
It features interviews with Richard Neville: founder of the psychedelic cult 70's magazine OZ, A.J. Weberman celebrity garbologist, Sophie Crumb comic, more celebrity bullshit, GAY BASH dance revolution and much, much more.

New Labels

New to the racks at Pigeon Ground this month is delightful Melbourne label Princess Tina, featuring sweet singlets, skirts and gorgeous wooden brooches.  Sitting alongside them is something for the boys - brand new tees from Mont Laroc, another Melbournian.  Featuring fat, in your face prints, this label is the antithesis of all things indie-rock.

And if that's not enough, you can now grab yourself a pair of beautiful handmade sandals straight from Sweden town.  Funkis footwear has arrived at Pigeon Ground.

We Buy Your Kids

This September, PG is proud to present TRAGEDIES, a month-long exhibition of new hand-screen and digital prints by Newtown-based illustration and design duo WeBuyYourKids.
www.webuyyourkids.com
Sonny and Biddy, aka WeBuyYourKids, work mainly in the music scene, specialising in limited-edition artwork for tour and theatre posters, and album artwork.
Their striking illustrations and hand-carved typography have brought attention to artists including Youth Group, The Drones and Blonde Redhead, and set a new precedent in gig poster artwork.
TRAGEDIES features images from Greek mythology, a cat chasing its tail and a man being eaten by dogs. TRAGEDIES is all our art work that is too intense for the rock n rollers.
TRAGEDIES runs from September 14 – October 12.
Come along on the opening night Sept 14th and be one of the first to snap up one of WBYK's amazing artworks.
